Gettysburg’s quaint center, abounds with gift and antique shops, eateries, and historic landmarksall within easy walking distance. Thanks to a location at the side of a bus stop, the hotel is well-connected with other parts of Seattle. An in-town oasis, The Gaslight Inn is conveniently located just one block from Lincoln Square, the center of Gettysburg, PA and one block from East Confederate Avenue, the Culps Hill area of the Battlefield. The giant Seattle Great Wheel is situated approximately a 25-minute walk from Seattle Gaslight Inn. Visit Reflecting Pool, just 12 minutes' walk from this accommodation, and feel complete harmony with the nature of United States of America. Trader Joe's is on the doorstep of The Gaslight, while Boeing Field/King County International airport is 0.5 miles from it. They were right! I would definitely stay here again, not just because of the convenience but because of the beautiful building, wonderful breakfast, amazing Innkeepers, and cleanliness of the Inn.Cuff Complex is located about a 6-minute walk away from the Seattle hotel, and such natural sites as the numerous Olympic Sculpture Park is about 1.7 miles away. They thought it was in overlooking the cemetery outside of town rather than on the major battlefields. Michael and Jennifer looked at it and told us where they thought it was! (there are several statues of horse and riders throughout the Gettysburg Battlefields. They were at a cannon and part of a horse's feet on a monument could be seen in the background. It was a picture of when my husband and his three brothers were young. My husband received a text from his brother the night before we left. Michael and Jennifer are extremely knowledgeable of the area. It is beauty, it is spacious, there is parking in the back. There was also an afternoon treat available when you came back to the B&B in the afternoon. I am not a big breakfast eater but I could not resist. Every morning was a wonderful breakfast prepared by either Michael or Jennifer! They were awesome hosts! The Breakfasts could rival any 5 star restaurant. The porch entrance was spacious and their was also a shared balcony on the second and third floors. The 'true dining room and the parlor that could be converted to a dining room if they were full. The room itself was great for two people. It was the perfect location! The Gaslight in was a beautiful place too.


There were wineries in town, great restaurants, places to shop. The Town Center was basically a half block from the Gaslight. I found the Gaslight Inn and it was perfect. My husband and I had stayed at another B&B in Gettysburg and it was great but we always had to drive everywhere.
